The Mailroom Manager oversees all mailroom operations at PBheadquarters, ensuring secure handling of incoming and outgoing mail, compliance with chain-of-custody requirements, and adherence to PBand federal mail management policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise mailroom staff and daily operations for USPS, FedEx, and UPS mail.
  • Ensure 100% chain-of-custody for accountable mail, PII, and sensitive financial instruments.
  • Monitor outgoing mail cutoff (3:00 PM) and postage meter balance control.
  • Prepare and submit monthly performance reports (volumes, meter logs, discrepancies).
  • Maintain compliance with PBDirective FM 05-04 and federal mail regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of mailroom or logistics experience, including supervisory roles.
  • OSHA Safety Training (required).
  • Mail Management Certification (preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with USPS, FedEx, UPS systems and chain-of-custody protocols.
