Job Title: Office Services Specialist
Location: Pontiac, MI (onsite)
Duration: 2 Months Contract
Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Overview
We are seeking an On-Site Services Specialist to provide a variety of on-site office support services. Responsibilities include copy and print services, document imaging, mail services, shipping and receiving, office supply management, customer support, and general building support. This role requires excellent customer service, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a large office environment.
Responsibilities

  • Operate high-volume copy, print, document imaging, and mail management equipment.
  • Perform copying, scanning, binding, finishing, quality checks, filing, archiving, and document management tasks.
  • Generate reports for digital printing, imaging, and mail systems.
  • Process, sort, distribute, and handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, faxes, and postage.
  • Ship and receive materials and maintain shipping and receiving records.
  • Order, stock, and distribute office supplies, paper, and toner.
  • Respond to customer service requests and act as the first responder for printer and copier issues, including clearing paper jams and reporting equipment problems.
  • Perform daily inspections of convenience copiers to ensure equipment is operating properly.
  • Maintain inventory, billing, meter, service, and management logs.
  • Deliver completed jobs, documents, and materials to designated locations, including between buildings when required.
  • Answer customer questions regarding job requests and service status.
  • Support meeting and conference room setup, file services, reception, housekeeping, call centre, and other office support functions as assigned.
  • Assist with office moves, light maintenance, re-lamping, and occasional cleaning duties.
  • Operate bindery and finishing equipment, including paper cutters, hole drills, joggers, tape machines, shrink-wrap machines, stackers, electric staplers, scales, fax machines, postage meters, calculators, and PCs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including overtime, evenings, weekends, or emergency response when required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience in office services, mailroom, copy/print, document imaging, or a related field; copy centre experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, document imaging software, and document management systems.
  • Good PC, organisational, mathematical, filing, and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate office machines and technical equipment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, inventories, billing logs, and service logs.
  • Comfortable with extensive walking, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, lifting up to 50-55 lbs., and pushing or pulling carts and equipment throughout a large facility.
  • Ability to work in a business casual environment and wear comfortable closed-toe shoes suitable for frequent walking.
  • Ability to travel between buildings if required.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and emergency call-outs when needed.
