As a Digital Solutions Specialist, you will serve as a flexible resource within the Digital function, helping leaders and teams navigate complex, ambiguous, or time-sensitive challenges across global regions and ministries. This role partners closely with the Chief Digital & Technology Officer (CDTO), temporarily embedding within teams to provide structure, facilitate progress, support execution, and leave behind stronger processes and sustainable solutions.

This role is highly relationship-driven and ideal for someone who enjoys working across cultures, functions, and technical disciplines while helping teams move important work forward.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with global functional and regional leaders to assess digital challenges and identify practical paths forward.
  • Embed temporarily within teams to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to complex or ambiguous situations.
  • Support the planning and execution of solutions alongside accountable leaders and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that do not have a single clear owner.
  • Help bridge communication between technical teams, ministry leaders, and regional stakeholders.
  • Translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Document lessons learned, process improvements, and recommendations following each engagement.
  • Provide training, guidance, and documentation that enable teams to sustain progress independently.
  • Identify emerging risks, trends, and opportunities across engagements and share insights with Digital leadership.
  • Monitor assigned project budgets, track expenditures, and proactively flag variances.
  • Build strong relationships across global teams to foster future collaboration and knowledge sharing.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Communications, Organizational Development, International Relations, Theology, Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in digital, IT, project management, problem-solving, business analysis, organizational development, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to bring structure and clarity to complex, ambiguous, or evolving situations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence outcomes without formal authority.
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders, teams, or functions.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Experience interpreting information and translating it into practical business recommendations.
  • Cross-cultural experience and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and perspectives.
  • Experience managing, tracking, or reporting on budgets and project expenditures.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally approximately 25-30%.

Spiritual & Missional Alignment

  • A mature Christian faith and passion for global Bible engagement and discipleship.
