Job SummarySupervise the transportation operations within a facility or across facilities, as determined.Job DescriptionWe are hiring $65,000-$70,000 based on experienceKey Accountabilities:Supervise company drivers and activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles.Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper issues.Collaborate with managers/staff members and customer to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with government regulations, administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, and Lean program.Obtain Freight rates for inside sales comparison.Arrange trucks for delivery to customers.Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.Maintain CTPAT and ISO certifications.This is a position that works directly on or around motor vehicle equipment.Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies.Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma required; bachelorโ€™s degree or some college in pursuit of same is preferred.1-2 years previous experience in a management or supervisory role.3-5 years prior experience in the transportation industry.Solid knowledge of government regulations within the trucking industry.Strong time management and coordination skills, verbal and written communication skills, and critical thinking/problem resolution ability.Safety Mindset.The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
