Job description

As a Driver at Moore RMG, you will play a vital role in ensuring the secure and timely transportation of client materials. This position is responsible for picking up and delivering mail, client work, and deposits across a multi-state region. It requires attention to detail, safe driving practices, and the ability to follow routes and schedules effectively. Your work directly supports our commitment to service excellence and operational efficiency.

The schedule for this role is 6am-4:30pm Monday-Wed. and 2am-12:30pm Friday. This is a full-time position and may require flexibility to support production needs across departments.

Your Impact:

  • Perform pickup and delivery of client work and mail from designated locations including post offices, banks, and client sites
  • Transport client deposits to various banking institutions securely and on schedule.
  • Operate a box truck or company vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Follow assigned delivery routes and adjust as necessary for traffic, weather, or scheduling needs.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
  • Assist with shipping duties as needed; may be required to perform tasks of a Shipping Team Member.
  • Conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
  • Be available for flexible scheduling, including early mornings or late shifts when needed.

Your Profile:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience driving a box truck or similar commercial vehicle.
  • Strong navigation skills and ability to read and follow road maps or GPS.
  • Knowledge of regional areas including Washington, Baltimore, Virginia, Frederick, Hagerstown, and Hancock.
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Education and Experience:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a DOT Fitness for Commercial Driving physical annually.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull mail trays, tubs, bags, and boxes up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to operate and move equipment in a warehouse and vehicle environment.
  • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Visual acuity required for reading addresses, road signs, and completing logs.
