Under general supervision, SUPERVISES Mailroom Staff in the processing of mail, and the preparation of policyholder documents for mailing to customers or potential customers from print to postproduction and mailing.

Essential Functions:

  • SUPERVISES all activities involved with mail processing.

  • DETERMINES the quantity and priority of work assignments. ASSIGNS work accordingly.

  • TRAINS and/or COORDINATES the training of Mailroom Staff. PROVIDES coaching and training to improve associate performance.

  • INVESTIGATES, RESOLVES and/or IMPLEMENTS solutions to solve workflow problems. RECOMMENDS changes in procedures as needed.

  • OVERSEES the inventory of supplies of all materials for efficient operation of equipment. DIRECTS Mailroom Staff in procuring new supplies within department plans and budget.

  • PREPARES reports for management regarding mail processing/supplies data.

  • May PERFORM other duties as required.

  • ADHERES to the Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.

  • MEETS attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing and speaking

  • Must be able to speak in a professional manner by telephone

  • Must be able to resolve complex business problems and handle complicated customer issues

  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills

  • Must be able to multi-task

  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and push a cart weighing 1,500 pounds

  • Must be willing to work overnight.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:30am EST
