Description
Provides positive and proactive delivery of all products and services offered at the lobby and drive through teller windows. Using sound banking and business practices, ensures customer satisfaction through marketing, consultation and analysis, and sales of various bank products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Conduct teller service transactions in a courteous, accurate and efficient manner.
  2. Reconcile and balance teller drawer, mail drop and night depository. Investigate discrepancies and make corrections as needed.
  3. Assist with routine tasks from other departments when appropriate.
  4. Provide superior customer service, analysis and consultation for deposit customers.
  5. Maximize cross-selling to meet customers' needs
  6. Prepare, compile and maintain relevant documentation regarding all deposit products/transactions that are in compliance with all bank and regulatory policies and regulations.
  7. Solicit and open consumer and business deposit accounts.
  8. Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships.
  9. Other Duties as Assigned.

Requirements
  • High school education or GED
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated aptitude and desire for sales achievement
  • Passion for customer service and helping people
  • Ability, motivation and preference to succeed in a goal-driven environment
  • Superior customer relationship building skills
  • Ability to maintain and balance a cash drawer
  • Comfortable making outreach calls to consumer or business customers and/or prospects
  • Proficient working knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable with technology i.e. smartphones, iPads, online banking, remote deposit capture, ATM deposits, etc
  • Basic understanding of personal finances and concept of budgeting
  • Good organizational skills
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule Monday through Saturday
  • Ability to function in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong commitment to personal growth, learning and success
  • Ability to interact with customers and team members in a professional and personable manner
