We're hiring a Mail Clerk in NYC Midtown Manhattan!
Compensation is $17.00 per hour. 
What You'll Do

As a Mail Clerk with Fedcap, you will report to the Print & Mail Fulfillment Services Supervisor and assist in the day-to-day operations of Print Production & Mail Fulfillment Services for a newly opened facility operating under a major new contract. 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Operating high-speed printers and mail insertion equipment, including cleaning and maintaining equipment on a regular basis and elevating equipment problems to supervisor if unable to resolve.
  • Processing mail/packages received from couriers.
  • Metering letter flats and parcels for outgoing shipments and delivering to the Post Office or elsewhere.
  • Updating Excel spreadsheets and scanning documents to a shared drive folder.
  • Organizing mailroom, replenishing supplies, and monitoring equipment for functionality.
  • Answering telephones and directing/routing calls. 

You're a Great Fit if You Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Experience in a high-volume mail and print environment, including experience operating black and white printers and mail insertion equipment.
  • Detail orientation and ability to process mail with precision.
  • Strong Organizational Skills to efficiently manage mail flow and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication skills including reading, writing, and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suitre (Word, Outlook, Excel), Office 365 SharePoint, and Adobe. .
  • The physical ability to stand, squat, and lift 35 pounds.
