Mail Clerk Assistant

Our Legal Operations team are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mail Clerk Assistant to join our team on a full time basis (40 hours). This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and are comfortable handling a variety of administrative and support tasks.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare outgoing mail, including printing and scanning legal documents.
  • Create CDs or USB drives to include supplemental materials for mailing.
  • Ensure all outgoing correspondence meets legal and confidentiality standards.
  • Support Legal Assistants by entering and retrieving case information from databases such as County Recorder sites and government insurance portals.
  • Conduct criminal history and records checks and perform bureau-specific data entry.
  • Redact sensitive information from medical records in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with legal documents and terminology is a plus.
  • Experience with document scanning, data entry, and basic research tools preferred.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.

Things You've Done in the Past

  • 1 year of technical computer experience, will use a CD Drive, computer and a postage meter
  • Ability to work full time and work a consistent schedule (Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm in office at 3840 E. Ray Road, Phoenix, AZ 85044)
