Position Overview:

The Senior Mail Services Associate is responsible for timely and accurate mail processing, document imaging and indexing consistent with compliance and performance standards, support and service customer requests to ensure the highest customer service standards.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Open and prepare mail for scanning and imaging
  • Index incoming and returned mail from scanned batches, fax, and email
  • Process returned mail for Underwriting and Accounting teams
  • Process high-volume document mailings
  • Operate printing, scanning, folder-inserter, and postage equipment
  • Prepare Certified and Registered mail
  • Upload experience modifications, merits, and certificates for indexing
  • Provide testing support for system changes
  • Oversee all mailroom operations in managerโ€™s absence
  • Ensure compliance with policy mail standards and performance requirements
  • Collate commission checks and statements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production equipment issues
  • Receive deliveries from vendors


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Experience with operating printing, scanning, folding, mailing machines preferred
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and efficiency
  • Work independently and collaboratively
  • Exercise sound judgement and maintain confidentiality


Physical Demands:


  • Stand for extended periods of time
  • Manual dexterity to stuff and seal envelopes at high volumes
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
