A member of the Sanitation department, a food service division at Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California. The Critical Cleaning Technician position is primarily responsible for the cleanliness of the building, grounds and ancillary equipment in the facility. This position supports the production team during clean up and idle periods. Weekend work is required, as is a flexible work schedule. Schedule may change at any time, upon management discretion. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and/or Sanitation Lead.
Pay Range: $22.00 per hour
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Schedule: Monday - Friday
(Must be willing to work OT and Weekends)
Location: Westlake, OH
Travel Requirements: None
Work Environment: Production environment within a manufacturing facility
Core Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning of the facility inside
  • Cleaning of the facility grounds outside
  • Perform tasks as required to comply with the master sanitation plan for the facility including operating the facility floor scrubber, foaming equipment and/or walls, mopping, or other cleaning duties.
  • Documentation of cleaning results and issues that may arise.
  • Organize, control, order, stock, and ensure availability of sanitation and lab supplies. Notify QA manager of issues in maintaining stock.
  • Pull retains for complaint investigations, documenting and maintaining chain of custody.
  • Enter work orders in CCMS and ensure effective close-out of findings from Hydrite audits.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Active participation in the LMP safety program.
  • Abides by all internal policies. This includes GMP, attendance, productivity etc.
  • Completes job related training in the timeframe allotted.
  • Maintains a high level of productivity in complying with the position requirements.
  • Documentation is up to date and accurate.
  • Work is finished timely, and results meet or exceed the manager's expectations

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexible work schedule and MUST be able to work weekends and some holidays, Schedule may change at any time, upon management discretion
  • Strict adherence to the attendance Lyons Magnus attendance policy.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
