Job description

Warehouse Associate
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Warehouse Associate for a company based in Southwest Houston, Texas. Responsible for supporting operations in a fast-paced pipe yard environment. This role includes loading, packing, and general warehouse duties. Candidates must be comfortable handling large materials such as pipes, fittings, and valves, and operating heavy-duty forklifts.
 
Pay Rate 
$16.00 - 18.00 an hour
 
Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm 
Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm 
 
Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate forklift to safely to move, load, and unload materials
• Load and unload trucks
• Perform order pulling, packing, and staging of materials
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and stocking inventory
• Stock and organize inventory in the warehouse
• Wrap, label, and secure materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Verify order accuracy, quantities, and documentation prior to shipment
 
Warehouse AssociateQualifications and Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and teamwork
• General warehouse experience (order pulling, stocking, shipping/receiving)
• Pipeyard experience is a plus
• Knowledge of carbon flanges and fittings is a plus
• Experience with valves, fittings, and pipe systems.
