Job description

Job Summary

Join our team in Cincinnati! Medpace is a contract research organization (CRO) with a mission to advance new and better medical treatments that improve lives. As our creative services expand, we are seeking recent graduates and experienced designers who can apply their layout and design skills to diverse projects. 

As a Design Coordinator, you will be an integral member of the Information Design team-a group of writers, designers, technical communicators, and other creative individuals who are passionate about improving lives. We provide creative guidance and develop compelling content, branding, documents, and trainings for a wide audience. 

Responsibilities
  • Design and format clinical study materials (e.g., worksheets, informational cards, questionnaires) for patients, caregivers, research site staff, and physicians
  • Incorporate amendments and translations into existing documents using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Word;
  • Manage translations to deliver high-quality materials around the globe   
  • Keep study teams informed by tracking study materials for regulatory submission
  • Review study materials to ensure they reflect source documentation 

Skills/Characteristics 

  • Enjoy applying your skills in design, writing, editing, communication, and organization to diverse projects

Qualifications
  • Willingness to work fully office-based;
  • Candidates local to Cincinnati area preferred; 
  • Bachelor's degree (design-related degree or design experience preferred);
  • Significant experience with file structure and file management;
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator; and
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, including applying styles and using templates
