Client: Aerospace Location: Bohemia, NY 11716
Duration: 8 months+ right to hire (Performance Based) Note: • 4 days onsite, possibility for 1 day/week remote with flexibility.
• Interview: likely 1 round, virtual. Engineering Aide
Description of duties
• Maintain configuration management (CM) processes and procedures to ensure consistency across hardware, software, and system baselines.
• Track and manage changes to project documentation, designs, software, and other assets through established change control processes.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment with CM processes.
• Utilize CM tools and software (Teamcenter and Macola EM10) to manage change requests, document revisions, and configuration baselines. Required qualifications
Experience: • Typically, 2+ years of experience in configuration management, systems engineering, or a related discipline. • Familiarity with CM tools such as Teamcenter, Enovia, PDM, SAP, Macola, or similar Skills:
• Strong understanding of configuration management principles, standards, and best practices. • Proficiency in managing configuration baselines and change control processes. • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse teams and stakeholders. Preferred qualifications
PLM/ERP: • Understanding of Teamcenter PLM and Macola EM10 ERP tools Certifications (Preferred): • Certification in configuration management (e.g., CMPIC, CMII).
