  • Schedule daily work and prioritize jobs to maximize productivity
  • Program new parts from scratch using Mastercam and Hypermill
  • Perform complete machine setups and prove-out new programs
  • Operate and troubleshoot complex 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machining centres
  • Ensure quality standards are met while maintaining extremely tight tolerances (±0.0005")
  • Support continuous improvement, workflow organization and shop efficiency
  • Work closely with engineering and production to meet customer deadlines
  • Mentor junior machinists and provide technical guidance when required
Equipment You'll Work With
  • DMG 5-Axis Machining Centres
  • Haas CNC Mills
  • CNC Lathe
  • Mastercam (2026)
  • Hypermill
What We're Looking For
  • Several years of CNC machining experience in a custom machining or job shop environment
  • Previous leadership, lead hand or supervisory experience
  • Strong Mastercam programming skills
  • Experience creating programs from scratch
  • Advanced setup experience on multi-axis machining centres
  • Excellent understanding of G-Code, tooling, fixtures and machining strategies
  • Ability to read complex engineering drawings and hold extremely tight tolerances
  • Someone who enjoys leading a team while remaining hands-on in production
Compensation & Benefits
  • $40.00-$45.00 per hour
  • Performance-based bonus program
  • Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM
  • Overtime available
  • 3 weeks vacation (negotiable to 4 weeks for the right candidate)
  • Annual health benefit allowance available
If you're looking for an opportunity where your machining expertise and leadership skills will directly influence the success of a high-performing precision shop, we'd love to hear from you.
