The Opportunity: CNC Machinist

Your Role: The CNC Machinist is responsible for the setup and operation of a variety of CNC machines, including horizontal and vertical mills. You will set up, operate, and manufacture products according to blueprint specifications and customer requirements. Responsibilities Included

  • Setup and operate various CNC mill machines, adhering to the blueprint specifications
  • Conduct first piece inspection to ensure the part is free of defects and ready for the next stage of production.
  • Comply with all aspects of 5S
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Reports To: Machining Manager

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum education level of High School, GED, or its equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in a machine shop environment
  • 3+ years experience working with mill machines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates in Precision Machining
  • Experience with multi-axis CNC milling with FANUC controls, MAZAK, or similar
  • Experience in horizontal mill machines
