Job Overview & Essential Functions
Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck Dealership and Leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Bodymen. The role of the Bodymen is to perform heavy-duty body repair under general supervision, receiving on the job training in a development program to achieve Body Journeyman status.
  • Perform and/or assists in the performance of general bodywork duties.
  • Work on major components with close supervision.
  • Perform trouble shooting on minor problems.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings.
  • Advise the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.

SAFETY-SENSITIVE
This position has been designated as a safety-sensitive position. Any person performing the position while under the influence of marijuana or any other illegal drug may constitute a threat to health or safety or in which a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death, including without limitation a position that includes the operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring of heavy equipment, machinery, aircraft, motorized watercraft, or motor vehicles or handling of hazardous materials and/or waste as part of the job duties.
Qualifications
  • CDL preferred.
  • Minimum of three years hand on experience and on the job training in a related body shop field.
  • Graduate of vocational course or experience and training equivalent.
  • Must have a positive can do attitude.
  • Must have a commitment to perform quality repairs.
  • Must have necessary tools required to perform position responsibilities
