Position Overview

As the Vehicle Shop Supervisor at Mt. Hood Meadows, youโ€™ll play a key leadership role in keeping our mountain operations running smoothly and safely. Youโ€™ll oversee a talented team of mechanics and technicians, ensuring all resort vehicles and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. From snowcats to shuttles, your expertise in mechanical systems and commitment to safety will help power the guest experience on and off the slopes.

This full-time, year-round position combines hands-on technical work with daily leadership responsibilities. Youโ€™ll manage workflow, prioritize repairs, and guide your team through complex diagnostics and maintenance projectsโ€”all while fostering a collaborative, safety-focused, and positive work environment. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and take pride in keeping the mountain moving, we invite you to join our Mountain Operations team.

This is a full-time, year-round position

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to be insured to operate company vehicles
  • Current CDL or ability to obtain a CDL.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in leadership or supervisory role
  • Demonstrated understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system
  • Ability to perform work in a variety of conditions and climates including severe winter weather conditions
  • Basic welding skillsย 
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures
  • Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer operationย

  • Basic Welding Skills
  • Snow Cat operation and repair experience a plus
  • ASE Certified
  • Equipment operation experience (Snowcats, Plow Trucks, Snowmobiles)

Compensation:

  • Wage: $31.00 โ€“ $37.00 per hour
