UCT is looking for a talented Fabrication Operator II to join us!
The Fabrication Operator II supports fabrication and production by performing a variety of shop processes including deburring, cutting, drilling, and tube bending. This role ensures parts are completed safely, accurately, and to specification in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of fabrication processes including:
    • Deburring and finishing parts
    • Saw cutting materials
    • Drilling and basic machining operations
    • Tube bending and forming
  • Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently to meet quality and production requirements
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings
  • Inspect parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) builds and prototype work with flexibility and attention to detail
  • Perform material handling, staging, and part movement throughout the facility
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 6S standards
  • Identify and report quality issues, defects, or equipment concerns
  • Work across multiple workstations as needed to support production flow and priorities
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE
