About the role:

As a Shop Helper for the machine shop, you will assist others in the shop while receiving training on multiple skillsets within. You will support all classification of MFG, Quality and Maintenance.

You will report to the Machine Shop Supervisor and be located at Newington, NH. You will support this role 100% onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic work assigned by department supervisor or team coordinator to support all classifications.
  • Ensure the safe use of equipment and materials.
  • React to and report all safety concerns with ARC.
  • Perform work promptly.
  • Responsible for quality of work once trained.
  • Practice proper housekeeping and observe all safety procedures and complete all Atlas training.
  • This job requires some heavy lifting (25lbs), pulling and twisting.
  • Perform general tasks including cleaning of offices, common areas, rest rooms, kitchens with approved cleaners.
  • Provide vender escorting.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 6 months to 1 year of machine shop experience
