Job Summary:
As a Body Shop Helper, you'll assist technicians with a variety of tasks, including prepping vehicles, maintaining a clean workspace, moving vehicles, and organizing tools and parts. No prior experience is required, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist body technicians with vehicle preparation and minor repair tasks
  • Will work with the body shop technicians, painters, estimators, and detailers to ensure the best customer service experience.
  • Ordering parts that are needed for repairs and keeping all parts needed for repair in order.
  • Examines damaged vehicles and performs the repairs per the estimate.
  • Documenting all work performed.
  • Will clean the shop after the vehicle has been repaired and returned to the customer
  • Will do a post-repair inspection and road test.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Pass a background check and drug screen

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Previous automotive or shop experience is a plus, but not required
