Watsontown Brick, a trusted brand within the General Shale family, is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team at our Watsontown, Pennsylvania facility. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a team-oriented production environment and are committed to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Position Overview:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, monitoring product quality, performing routine maintenance, and supporting plant operations to meet production goals. This role includes performing machine changeovers, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manufacturing machinery or groups of machines using basic computer controls

  • Monitor product quality and make adjustments to meet production standards

  • Complete daily production goals and work overtime as required

  • Perform machine changeovers and basic mechanical adjustments for different production runs

  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning to ensure equipment efficiency

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment malfunctions

  • Safely operate a forklift and assist with other duties as assigned

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times

Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment
