This is a part-time, evening position with a maximum of 20 hours per week. 

 

Principal Accountabilities:  

  • The Machine Operator 1 will be responsible for preshrinking and drying woven liners to meet internal specifications.
    • Understand process of Preshrink and/or heat set liners based on Treater Work Order.
    • Operate Treat Line for Drying Process
    • Monitor Machine for defects or malfunctions
    • Set-up and stage material for Treating
    • Move finished product to designated areas
    • Maintain a clean and organized workplace using the “6S” system.
    • Embrace change in the work environment to maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
    • Considers the safety of self and others while performing job responsibilities and understands Supervisor must be notified of unsafe conditions.
    • Strive to maintain a positive work environment.
    • Other duties may be assigned.
    • Always maintain and promote Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors.

Education and/or Relative Experience:  

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
