Job description

Our client, a leading distribution company, is seeking an entry level Account Payable Specialist for a part time role in their King of Prussia office.

Hours: Monday - Friday - Very Flexible - Work a total of 20 hours per week
Pay: $22-24 / hour
Location: King of Prussia, Pa

Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry
  • Checks and approves all vouchers for payment.
  • Prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary.
  • Audits freight bills against freight manifests.
  • Answers all vendor inquiries.
  • Prepares accounts payable checks.
  • Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
  • Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
  • Assists in monthly closings.
  • Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma
  • At least 1 year of experience in an accounts payable role or educational training in accounting or finance
  • Skilled with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Great attention to detail.
