Job Description
Machine Operator Responsibilities
  • Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties
  • Setup machinery and effectively monitor production
  • Make required adjustments to machinery as necessary
  • Conduct quality spot checks at set intervals
  • Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
  • Maintain a safe and clean work space

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate technical degree preferred.
  • Prefer machine operating experience.
  • Prefer mechanical aptitude.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
  • Ability to perform job safely.
  • Ability to clean and organize work area (stack, sort, sweep, use solvents/cleaners, broom).
  • Must have a good verbal and written understanding of the English language.
  • Must be within a commutable distance to facility. Relocation support not offered.

Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to read digital micrometers.
  • Ability to read digital calipers.
  • Ability to use manual lathes or mills.
  • Ability to read and understand G and M codes.
