Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.

Receive and follow directions from the Operator and/or Supervisor.

Assist machine operator to set up orders, mount printing and cutting dies, ink adjustments, and ensure quality checks are performed before, during and upon completion of each order. 

Inspect machine during run and notify Operator when acceptable parts are not being produced.

Assist in cleanup of equipment.

Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.

Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.

Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Graduate or GED.

Passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.

Ability to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.

Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.

Ability to work the first shift. 

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.

Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.
