Job description

MACHINE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - LEVEL III

Dynomax, a family-owned company, designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, specialty machines, and machine tool spindles since 1986. We are expanding and are seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our 1st shift Maintenance team.

Job Responsibilities:

The Machine Maintenance Technician will help us maintain the state-of-the-art equipment. 

  • Installation, service, and repairs of CNC Machines and industrial equipment, electric motors, and other related equipment
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment
  • Assist in the creation, verification, and implementation of SOP
  • Move and replace machinery using fork lifts and dollies through attainment of proper certifications
  • Diagnose and identify faulty electrical components and mechanical components 
  • Work at the component level including spindles, bearing packs, ballscrews, lubrication systems, and proper alignment
  • Use gages and other test instruments to diagnose malfunctions and hand and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble system components
  • Fabricate, assemble, and test mechanical system parts as needed, using hand tools, and power tools
  • Replace fuses, light bulbs, circuit breakers, electric switches, and other electrical equipment following electrical specifications

Job Requirements:

This key position is ideal for a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician with strong technical skills as well as excellent communication skills.

  • 6 or more years of CNC Maintenance experience
  • Proficiency in the use and navigation of CNC machine controls
  • Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of CNC machine controls and components
  • Proficiency in the creation of SOP
  • Proficiency in mechanical and controls calibration standards and methods
  • Proficient with hand tools and the ability to read precision measuring hand tools
