Robotics, Automation, CNC and Machinery Building Opportunities in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Entry Level to Advanced Positions Available for Custom, Prototype and Specialty Builds.

A local Michigan manufacturer of advanced robotics, automation, CNC, and specialty machinery in Sterling Heights is seeking several Automation and Machinery Builders for long-term positions with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities to work for a company that offers excellent incomes, benefits, paid time off, training, growth, development, and a great work-life balance!

Automation and Machinery Builders incomes are anticipated to start between $25 to $35 an hour based on each candidate's experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours.

Qualified Automation and Machinery Builders should have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

  • Any experience with machine tool building: robotics, automation, CNC, machinery systems.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints, 3D CAD drawings, lay out, and build to specifications.
  • Any experience with sub-assembly of tooling, fixtures, end-effectors (EOAT), GEO (geometric) alignments, auxiliary equipment, etc.
  • Machine building / service background with any Fanuc / Siemens / BoschRexroth MTX, or Rockwell controls is a plus.
  • Open to traveling, primarily local for installations and commissioning.
  • Must be able to use various hand and power tools, fabrication equipment, etc.
  • Must be able to work in the US and complete pre-screening background test and drug screening.
