Heavy Line Automotive Technician – Ford / Lincoln Mac Haik Ford Lincoln

Mac Haik Ford Lincoln in Georgetown, Texas is actively hiring experienced Heavy Line Automotive Technicians to join our growing service department. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for highly skilled technicians with experience in major engine, transmission, drivability, and diesel repairs.

Heavy Line Technician Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, drivetrains, suspension, electrical, and fuel systems
  • Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently according to dealership and factory standards
  • Diagnose malfunctions and determine proper repair procedures
  • Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts and materials
  • Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or safety concerns
  • Inform Service Advisors when additional repairs are needed or when repair timelines change
  • Properly document all work performed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Properly account for dealership-owned tools and equipment
  • Participate in ongoing hands-on training and development opportunities
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience required
  • Heavy line or major repair experience preferred
  • Ford experience is a plus, but not required
  • ASE Certifications are a plus
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
