Position Summary

As a Quick Lane Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for Quick Lane customers, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience from arrival through vehicle delivery. You will greet customers, assess vehicle needs, recommend maintenance services, communicate repair progress, and help ensure customer satisfaction at every step.

This is a full-time position with an attractive 4-day, 40-hour work week, providing a great work-life balance while offering the opportunity to build a rewarding career in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience & Service Excellence
  • Greet customers promptly, professionally, and courteously.
  • Create a welcoming and customer-focused service experience.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle needs.
  • Communicate service recommendations clearly and professionally.
  • Provide updates throughout the repair process.
  • Resolve customer concerns in a timely and positive manner.
  • Build long-term relationships that encourage customer retention and loyalty.
  • Support dealership CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) goals.
Quick Lane Operations
  • Schedule appointments and manage customer check-ins.
  • Prepare and process repair orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
  • Monitor service progress and communicate status updates.
  • Verify repair orders for accuracy before vehicle delivery.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional Quick Lane environment.
  • Ensure all dealership and manufacturer processes are followed.
Sales & Service Recommendations
  • Educate customers on routine maintenance requirements and vehicle care.
  • Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs.
  • Present estimates and explain services in a clear, understandable manner.
  • Support department goals for customer-pay sales and maintenance retention.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer ownership experience.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with technicians, parts personnel, and service management.
  • Maintain clear communication across departments.
  • Assist with workflow management to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Support dealership initiatives and Ford service programs.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous automotive service advisor, customer service, or dealership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and repair services preferred.
  • Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar platforms) is a plus.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
