About Carpet Tech:

Carpet Tech is a trusted leader in floor care, emergency restoration, and specialty cleaning services across West Texas and beyond. The Financial Analyst is a critical member of the Accounting and Finance team. We are looking for a talented financial analyst to support the financial health of the organization.

Tasks/Duties:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating historical and current financial data to understand the company’s financial condition
  • Production of data-backed reports to support the management team in taking strategic business decisions
  • Developing financial models that forecast business outcomes and profits
  • Creating industry specific and organization specific metrics to compare strategic business units within the organization as well as comparison to industry specific benchmarks
  • Develop predictive financial models to support organizational decision making
  • Establish benchmarks for financial processes
  • Develop forecasting tools to automate financial data analysis
  • Track current financial data to alert stakeholders in case of deviation
  • Analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins
  • Researching of expenses and analysis of those expenses to each specific business unit
  • Work closely with accounting and operations, to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in a financial or accounting specific field
  • Proven experience working as a financial analyst
  • Proven proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications
  • Excellent reporting, presenting and communication skills
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Strategic thinking and organizational skills
  • Proven analytical and financial modeling skills
