Job description

Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN)

Olympia Convalescent Hospital is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Pay Scale: $33-$39 with a $1500 sign on bonus!

Schedule: Full Time and must be able to work a 4-2 rotating schedule

Korean Speaking Preferred

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will consistently perform according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
  • Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
  • Other Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) duties as assigned.
  • Provide general nursing care to patients
  • Provide direct nursing care for identified patients
  • Provide skilled nursing care as outlined in the nursing care plan
  • Providing basic patient care or treatments
  • Conduct patient care conferences on patient assigned to / care
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse
  • Plan and implement nursing care
  • Implement direct patient care and perform assigned prescribed treatments and medications
  • Provide nursing care to patients requiring inpatient rehabilitation
  • Provide direct nursing care to participants
  • Provide residents with quality nursing care
  • Administer basic health care or medical treatments
  • Perform some or all of duties or other job-related duties
  • Coordinate patient care delivered by the multidisciplinary care team
  • Develop patient care plans with input from the patient/family
  • Anticipate patient care needs and accommodate physicians
  • Provide direct patient care in order to make patient
  • Evaluate nursing care delivered to residents

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Qualifications:

  • Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License in the state in which the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) practices.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year prior Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) experience preferred.
