Job description

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Low Voltage Prewire Technician to join our growing team in Southern California.

This role focuses primarily on new construction and remodel prewire, including structured cabling and smart home infrastructure for high-end residential projects.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and route low-voltage wiring including Cat6, RG6, speaker wire, security, and control wiring

  • Read and follow floorplans, elevations, and wiring documentation

  • Label and organize wiring at both ends

  • Drill, fish, and route wire cleanly while protecting finished surfaces and framing

  • Install backboxes, rings, conduit, and rough-in hardware

  • Assist with trim-out, device installation, rack build, and final commissioning as needed

  • Maintain clean, professional job sites and communicate clearly with team members

Requirements

  • Experience in low-voltage, AV, alarm, security, telecom, or electrical prewire preferred

  • Comfortable on ladders and working in attics/crawl spaces

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day

  • Basic hand tools and reliable transportation required

  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is a major plus
