Waara Technologies is a systems integrator working in residential and light commercial construction. We have been serving Northern Michigan for more than 15 years and specialize in control systems, audio, video, lighting, cameras, and networks. Our success is built on developing lasting relationships with our customers and contracting partners.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a background in Home Automation or Audio/Video Installation
  • Has at least 2 years of experience in construction, Audio/Video installation, Home Automation, or Network configuration
  • Has some programming knowledge (preferred)
  • Works well in a fast-paced team environment
  • Loves electronics
  • Has a valid driver's license
  • Is able to lift 75 lbs
  • Has a strong work ethic
  • Able to set up speakers, amplifiers, turntables, etc., correctly
  • Has experience working with one or more of the following systems: Nice, Control4, Crestron, Lutron, Ubiquiti, QSC. (preferred)

What you would be doing:

  • Wiring for installations
  • Install audio, video, and other electronic equipment
  • Perform service calls
  • Diagnose issues with equipment/systems

Note: Starting wage is based on level of experience/skill and is negotiable.
