The Lutheran Home is hiring dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our healthcare team for a full-time position. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in our health center, including assessment, treatment, and evaluation of care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and manage resident care
  • Supervise and direct nurse aides in proving direct care to residents, ensuring quality and consistency of care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Monitor resident progress and adjust care plans as needed to promote optimal recovery and functional independence
  • Educate residents and their families about rehabilitation goals, care plans, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes
  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions as necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing staff education and training
  • Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure high standards of care and safety
  • Promote a positive team culture, fostering respect and open communication

Available full-time shifts include:
 
  • Day shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
    • 12-hour shift
    • Work 7 days out of every 14
    • Every other weekend off
 
  • Evening shift: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM
    • 8-hour shift
    • Work 4 days per week
    • Rotating weekend schedule

Education Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted RN license in the State of Missouri (or eligibility for licensure)
  • CPR certification
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
