The Lutheran Home is seeking full-time Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to join our compassionate healthcare community. You’ll provide essential hands-on support and care to our residents, bringing comfort, dignity, and compassion to every part of their day. Available Shifts:
  • Day Shift (12-hour): 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
  • Night Shift (12 hour): 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist residents with daily personal care and hygiene
  • Assist with feeding residents
  • Weigh residents using upright, chair, and mechanical lift scales
  • Assist with turning and positioning of residents
  • Transfer residents using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for safety
  • Assist residents with mobility needs, including safe use of wheelchairs, walkers, and canes as appropriate
  • Demonstrate safe use of medical equipment (mechanical lifts, side rails, braces, splints, oxygen, mobility aids)
  • Help keep residents’ rooms clean and properly supplied
  • Make and change beds (unoccupied and occupied)
  • Ambulate residents requiring minimal assistance
  • Perform skin checks and report any abnormalities to the nurse
  • Respond to call lights and take appropriate action
  • Immediately report any abuse, neglect, incidents, or changes in resident condition to the nurse
  • Communicate resident requests or concerns in a timely manner

Requirements:
  • Current Missouri CNA certification
  • Minimum age of 18
