Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the direction of the Physician, Nurse Supervisor and Practice Manager. The LPN recognizes patient's needs and symptoms in advance and provides care for the patient under the physician's direction. This includes preparing patient for exams, assisting during treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and recording treatment in medical record.
The LPN assists with patient and family education and demonstrates competency and skills to serve OB/GYN patients.
LPN will work in 2 OB/GYN locations
Required Minimum Education:
  • High School Diploma / GED General or Other / Certificate Nursing

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):
  • Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia. Required
  • BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor

Required Minimum Experience:
  • Previous Healthcare experience in ambulatory, outpatient setting is preferred.
