Position Overview

The Center for Family Guidance seeks a dedicated and unbiased Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team as a full-time remote telehealth provider. This role focuses on delivering expert counseling and psychotherapeutic interventions to clients in a supportive virtual environment. The LPC will be responsible for scheduling intake assessments, evaluating clients' treatment needs, and developing effective, tailored treatment strategies that lead to successful client outcomes.

This position is fully remote, allowing our licensed counselors to effectively help clients from the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand new clients’ personal histories, emotional challenges, and existing resources.
  • Collaborate with clients to design and implement individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
  • Engage in ongoing therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Monitor clients’ progress throughout the therapeutic process, modifying treatment plans as necessary to maximize effectiveness.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients about mental health, coping mechanisms, and the therapeutic process to foster understanding and commitment to treatment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans using our integrated electronic health record system.
  • Participate in peer supervision and professional development meetings to ensure continuous learning and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
