Your Impact
The principle purpose of this University Recruiting Leadership role is to develop University Relations and Recruiting strategies to support Lowe's goal to hiring outstanding early in career talent. This includes responsibility for leading the development of University Relations partnership with core schools and programs, to ensure Lowe's engagement with key partners aligns to longer term investments and goals. This leader will have the opportunity to design a recruitment strategy that allows Lowe's to develop top talent from within the organization and build an infrastructure for future succession planning across all business lines, including but not limited to, Technology, Finance, Supply Chain, Merchandising and Stores. The ability to effectively influence organizations from hiring managers to HR Partners to Senior Executives, will be critical for success in this role, as will the ability to deliver results that are operationally streamlined to scale hiring results in volume.
What You Will Do
Create and manage University Recruitment strategies to ensure that organizational talent needs are met
Experience implementing technology solutions to scale results and enhance efficiencies
Partner with corporate and field stakeholders and leaders to design and implement programs to attract, and retail early in career talent into the organizations
Oversees the school selection process to ensure partnerships with target schools are being maximized to build effective longer term returns on investment grants
Track ROI on universities attended, interviews conducted, and offers made and accepted to develop an understanding of recruitment trends; experienced in showcasing metrics through foundational data driven analysis
Lead process improvement initiatives geared towards streamlining and standardizing practices, policies, procedures, tools and metrics.
Effectively partner with external early in career talent programs to build out non-traditional pipelines that also contribute to increased diversity in Lowe's candidate slates.
Build and manage a budget to support all programmatic efforts to deliver results.
Partner with Marketing and Branding departments to ensure Lowe's employer of choice messaging is authentic to the company's core values, and relevant to college students.
Lead the annual Summer Internship Program strategy, including intern on-boarding, effective mentorship, meaningful work, assessment of return offers, and overall ownership to ensure a rewarding and productive experience for Lowe's interns and for Lowe's
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree HR or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
7 Years experience in recruitment or related field
5 Years experience managing a recruiting team
2 Years experience running a college recruiting function
Preferred Skills/Education
10 Years experience leading teams and developing University recruitment strategies
5 Years experience managing a recruiting program for a Fortune 100 company
5 Years experience using analytics to build and track a recruiting function's effectiveness
2 Years managing a budget
2 Years experience implementing technical solutions to increase efficiency and scale results
