JOB DESCRIPTION

The Concierge is responsible for providing personalized guest services and enhancing the overall guest experience by anticipating needs and offering tailored recommendations inside the 7th floor Concierge Lounge. This role requires expert knowledge of the hotel, local attractions, dining, entertainment, and transportation options. The Concierge serves as a trusted resource for guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable stay.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and assist guests with warmth and professionalism.
  • Set up all evening food including hot items, desserts, and beer & wine for display. 
  • Continually verify that all food and drink is replenished throughout your shift. 
  • Walk through the lounge multiple times a night to be sure tables bases and tops are clean. 
  • Assist guests with directions, maps, and travel arrangements.
  • Handle guest requests promptly, including special accommodations or unique needs.
  • Coordinate delivery of guest packages, mail, market items and other services when asked by the Front Desk staff on the lobby level. 
  • Check all food items and be sure items are fresh and stocked at all times. 
  • Recognize all repeat guests and VIPs. Be able to recognize them and know about their special requests.
  • Uphold hotel policies and brand standards while maintaining guest confidentiality and security.
  • Have a true understanding of all hotel operations including hours, pricing, Marriott Bonvoy, and local information in order to speak to our guests with the utmost knowledge.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Two years + customer service experience preferred.
  • Must be able to verbally communicate clearly with guests and fellow employees.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. 


HOURS

Due to the business demands of the hospitality industry, and the fact that the hotel provides guest services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year- any employee may be required to work rotating shifts, including weekends, night shifts, and/or overtime. Also, depending on business demands, hours may be reduced at any time.
