WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

The Waukesha County District Attorney's Office - Victim Witness Assistance Program is seeking a Victim/Witness Case Manager to join our team. This position provides direct services to crime victims, assists the Victim Witness Director with day-to-day operations of the program, and is a true team leader.

In this position, you will take responsibility for providing all services to victims and witnesses of crime for your own cases, as well as assisting teammates with complex case situations and coverage. You will be an integral part of planning and monitoring case assignments for the program.

While a strong understanding of victims' rights and the justice system are important to this position, the role is about more than laws and statutes. Strong people skills and a dedication to helping others are essential. Our work directly supports the safety of those we help and contributes to the quality of life in our community. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing knowledgeable and compassionate support, exceptional customer service, and enthusiastic teamwork.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements
1. A bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, or a closely related field.
2. One (1) year of work experience in the field of victim witness, social work, psychology, counseling, or a closely related field.
3. Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field, from a recognized college or university may substitute the work experience.
