Job description

Long-Lewis of Hoover is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Mobile Service Warranty Administrator to support our growing service operations. This individual will be responsible for preparing, recording, and submitting warranty claims to the dealership's manufacturers for prior approval, specifically related to mobile service work.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, record, and submit mobile service warranty claims to manufacturers for prior approval
  • Track all warranty claims and ensure proper documentation and timely follow-up
  • Ensure the dealership receives accurate reimbursement for completed warranty work
  • Maintain records in compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support service operations
  • Communicate effectively with technicians, service advisors, manufacturers, and customers as needed
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in a dealership Service Department or warranty administration preferred

Technical Knowledge:
  • Basic understanding of automobile systems and manufacturer warranty processes
  • Familiarity with warranty terms, conditions, and compliance standards

Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with dealership DMS or warranty management software is a plus
