Required Qualifications
โ One of the following is required:
- OSHA 500 Certification and 6+ years of construction safety experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health & Safety (or related field) and 3+ years of construction safety experience
- CSP, CHST, or STSC Certification and 5+ years of construction safety experience
Preferred Qualifications
โญ Conveyor installation experience
โญ Material handling equipment installation experience
โญ Distribution center or warehouse construction experience
โญ Mechanical construction experience
โญ Amazon or large logistics facility experience
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee daily safety activities for conveyor installation operations
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
- Support installation activities involving conveyor systems and material handling equipment
- Monitor elevated work, equipment installation, and mechanical assembly operations
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Deliver safety orientations and field safety coaching
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Partner with project supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project
