Operations Manager

Houston, TX | Full-Time | Transportation & Logistics

Happymile Logistics is seeking an experienced Transportation Operations Manager to lead daily trucking and driver operations for our growing Houston-based fleet

What You'll Do

  • Manage day-to-day transportation, dispatch, and fleet operations
  • Supervise CDL drivers, driver scheduling, load planning, and route coordination
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain drivers
  • Monitor HOS, ELDs, DOT/FMCSA compliance, and safety performance
  • Improve fleet utilization, operational efficiency, and on-time service
  • Resolve driver, customer, and service-related issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Partner with leadership to support operational growth and performance

What We're Looking For

  • 10-15 years of General Freight, logistics, transportation, or operations experience
  • Experience managing CDL drivers and transportation/fleet operations in a trucking environment required
  • Reefer and Dry Van experience
  • Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with dispatch systems, ELDs, and transportation software preferred
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
