Job description

Job Description:

  • Receive, inspect, and inventory incoming data center equipment, including servers, racks, switches, and cabling.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move IT equipment and materials throughout warehouse and data center environments.
  • Load, unload, stage, and transport equipment while following safety procedures.
  • Track inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and asset management tools.
  • Prepare equipment for deployment, installation, and shipment.
  • Coordinate with logistics, operations, and data center technicians to ensure timely delivery of hardware.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and data center security protocols.
  • Keep warehouse and staging areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Valid Forklift Certification (Sit-Down, Stand-Up, Reach Truck, or Cherry Picker, as applicable)
  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, or data center operations
  • Knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in fast-paced environments
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Familiarity with RF scanners, Microsoft Excel, and inventory management systems is a plus
