Job description

Salary: $15 to $20 per hour

Centurion is seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveOperations Assistantto provide administrative and operational support across a variety of business functions. This individual will contribute to the coordination of company processes, communication, scheduling, and documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and capable of managing multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail.


Responsibilities

  • Answer and route incoming calls; receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages.
  • Schedule meetings, including interviews; send calendar invitations and track logistics.
  • Coordinate staff travel arrangements.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and distribute notes to attendees.
  • Draft and format correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed.
  • Maintain company SharePoint sites and update company website and social media platforms.
  • Maintain and manage the company calendar.
  • Support project activities, including project tracking and close-out tasks.
  • Reconcile expense reports and update financial tracking logs.
  • Track invoice status (sent, paid, pending).
  • Assist with new employee onboarding, including materials prep and documentation collection.
  • Manage vendor coordination for office maintenance, supplies, and services.
  • Conduct basic research and compile findings into summary reports.
  • Monitor business development opportunities and assist with capture-related planning.
  • Support planning and logistics for internal corporate events.
  • Maintain office supply inventory and place orders.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required(Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred).
  • 12 years of administrative or operational support experience required.
  • Prior experience supporting executives or senior management strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with updating website and social media content is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
