Job description

Job Title: Export Coordinator

Job Type: Contract – 6 Months, with potential extension / possible Temp-to-Hire

Location: Neenah, WI 54956 – Onsite


Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an Export Coordinator to support customer service, logistics, procurement, warehouse coordination, and international shipping activities. This position will primarily work from a desk but will also interact with the warehouse team on the floor as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, logistics, procurement operations, transportation, or global shipping and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with experience supporting a global organization, carrier, or logistics operation and knowledge of shipping materials/products are strongly preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve order inquiries, shipment questions, and customer issues.
  • Use SAP, SED, Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint to maintain accurate order and material information.
  • Prepare, verify, and transmit all required export documentation accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, warehouse personnel, and carriers to schedule shipments based on delivery requirements.
  • Manage standard and non-standard order picks for applicable countries.
  • Obtain and coordinate freight quotes.
  • Support shipment consolidation, closing, and completion activities.
  • Handle tentative pricing and related order information.
  • Support international shipments, including KTW to KTE shipments.
  • Perform sales order entry for multiple countries.
  • Support quoting and alternative sourcing activities.
  • Research and resolve customer-initiated claims and repair-related issues.
  • Provide backup and flow-to-the-work support across export functions to ensure seamless coverage.
  • Take on additional export-related responsibilities and projects as business needs arise.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team when onsite support is required.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, logistics, procurement operations, transportation, export, or shipping.
  • Experience with international/global shipping is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP/order management systems preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Willingness to work directly with warehouse personnel and support operational needs onsite.
