The group you'll be a part of
The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.
The impact you'll make
Oversees the planning and controls the flow of materials, products, services and related systems information from point of origin to point of delivery. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, or critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, third-party warehousing and shipping/receiving activities. Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints. Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories. Exhibits thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments. Interacts with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Product Development personnel to optimize systems and procedures. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
What you'll do
  • Oversee US distribution hub for spares in the Glendale / Pheonix Area.
  • Ensure compliance with work safety and environmental regulations.
  • Manage daily operations, projects, and team performance, including career development and performance reviews.
  • Act as liaison between Lam Logistics and internal/external customers to drive process improvements and service level enhancements.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to operational SLAs, KPIs, SOX compliance, quality standards, and ISO governance.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for PHX warehousing and spares operations.
  • Support logistics business continuity planning, including participation in BCP storage and movement as needed.
  • Organize and lead cross-functional project teams to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance quality.
  • Respond proactively to changes in spares network plans with appropriate logistics support.
  • Support implementation of system solutions for logistics operations.
  • Prepare and present reports on warehouse, inventory, in-transit, and quality metrics.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues using structured problem-solving methods.
  • Forecast and manage logistics warehousing budgets in alignment with Finance and executive management.
  • Approve supplier invoices and create purchase requisitions for vendors.
  • Manage 3PL relationship for the PHX sites.

Who we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in production management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, designs, and schematics.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience in inventory control and process management.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred qualifications
  • SAP S4, EWM knowledge
