About Your Role:

As a Transportation Coordinator at Dollar Tree,you'llsupport transportation operations by coordinating outbound shipments and ensuringaccurate,timelycommunication across stores, distribution centers, carriers, and internal teams. Your work helpsmaintainservice standards and operational efficiency. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Transportation Coordination & Execution:

  • Coordinate outbound and backhaul freight assignments to support transportation operations

  • Maximize truckutilizationwhile supporting cost control efforts

  • Conduct tracking and tracing of deliveries and transportation equipment

  • Monitor carrier performance and ensure compliance with delivery protocols

Data Accuracy & Documentation:

  • Performaccuratedata entry across transportation systems

  • Ensure accuracy of carrier invoicing within transportation systems

  • Support claims processes andmaintainproper documentation for credits

Operational Support & Compliance:

  • Analyze operational trends andassistwith process improvement efforts

  • Follow safety procedures and promote a clean, organized work environment

  • Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as assigned

Your Required Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred

  • 3-5 years of customer service experience preferred

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
