Job description

About Us

Source Direct Imports is a custom manufacturing and engineering company serving the hospitality industry. We design and manufacture made-to-spec bath packages, architectural millwork, doors, door hardware, glass shower enclosures, vanities, mirrors, shower surrounds, and exterior railings — delivering directly to hotel renovation job sites across the country.

Our clients are general contractors and hotel ownership groups working with top brands including Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG. Our production partners are factories in China and Vietnam. We manage the full lifecycle: design and engineering, overseas production, customs and logistics, and on-site delivery.

We’re growing — and we’re looking for a Project Manager who can own complex, custom manufacturing projects from initial design through final delivery.

The Role

As a Project Manager at Source Direct Imports, you’ll be the central point of coordination across engineering, production, logistics, and the client. You’ll work closely with our internal engineering team — reviewing designs, providing client-informed feedback, and managing the approval process with GC teams and hotel ownership groups. You’ll also coordinate with our overseas manufacturing partners to keep production aligned with renovation timelines and manage the logistics chain through to delivery.

This role demands strong communication skills, comfort with technical subject matter, and the ability to keep multiple complex projects moving simultaneously.

Responsibilities

•     Manage custom manufacturing projects from initial design through on-site delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met

•     Collaborate with the internal engineering team to suggest, review, and evaluate product designs

•     Translate client feedback, brand requirements, and job site conditions into clear direction for the engineering team

•     Serve as the primary point of contact for GC teams and hotel ownership groups throughout the project lifecycle

•     Manage submittal and approval processes between the engineering team and the client

•     Coordinate production schedules with overseas manufacturing partners (China/Vietnam) to align with hotel renovation windows

•     Manage customs, freight forwarding, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery

•     Identify risks and roadblocks early; propose and execute solutions before they impact the client

•     Ensure all products meet brand standards and project specifications

•     Provide clear reporting on milestones, deliverables, and financials to leadership

Qualifications

•     3+ years of project management experience

•     Background in construction, architectural products, custom manufacturing, or hospitality renovations strongly preferred

•     Experience managing submittals and approval processes with GCs or hotel ownership groups a significant plus

•     Comfortable reviewing technical designs and communicating design intent clearly to non-technical clients

•     Experience acting as the bridge between technical teams and client stakeholders

•     Experience with overseas vendor management or import logistics a plus

•     Excellent communication and relationship management skills across engineering, production, and client-facing contexts

•     Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously

•     Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field; PMP certification a plus

•     Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, or similar)

Why Join Source Direct Imports?

•     Be part of a growing custom manufacturing and engineering company with a strong foothold in the hospitality industry

•     Work on high-profile hotel renovation projects for the industry's top brands

•     A role with real substance — you're the connective tissue between engineering, production, and the client

•     Join a team that values precision, ownership, and follow-through

•     Competitive salary and benefits package
