Employment Type: Full Time

Position Summary

The Part Leader is responsible for leading daily production logistics operations within LGES Arizona Link Plant 2. This role supervises frontline logistics associates and coordinates material flow between warehouse, production, yard, and shuttle operations to support safe and uninterrupted manufacturing activities.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader with experience in warehouse, manufacturing, production support, or industrial logistics environments.

Responsibilities:

1. Daily Operations Management

  • Supervise daily logistics operations supporting production activities
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound material flow
  • Support production line replenishment and material staging
  • Manage warehouse, production floor, and yard logistics activities
  • Monitor dock operations, trailer flow, and shuttle coordination
  • Ensure timely movement of materials to support production schedules

2. Equipment & Automation Coordination

  • Support operations utilizing:
    • Forklifts
    • Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR)
    • Yard Goats
    • Straddle Carriers
    • Reach Stackers
  • Coordinate operational response during equipment downtime or abnormal situations
  • Work closely with operators and load planners to maintain operational continuity

3. Team Leadership

  • Lead shift associates and logistics operators
  • Assign daily tasks and manpower
  • Conduct shift meetings and operational handovers
  • Train new associates on SOPs and safety requirements
  • Monitor productivity, attendance, and operational discipline

4. Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce all FNS and customer safety policies
  • Conduct daily safety briefings
  • Promote strong 5S and safety culture
  • Immediately escalate unsafe conditions or operational risks
  • Support incident investigation and corrective actions

5. KPI & Reporting

  • Track operational KPIs including:
    • Production support timing
    • Inventory accuracy
    • Dock turnaround
    • Equipment utilization
    • Safety performance
  • Prepare daily operational updates and shift reports
  • Escalate operational issues proactively

6. Customer Communication

  • Coordinate with LGES production and quality teams
  • Support IQC/OQC-related logistics activities
  • Respond to urgent production support requests
  • Participate in operational meetings as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in:
    • Warehouse operations
    • Manufacturing logistics
    • Production support logistics
    • Industrial operations
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Forklift operation experience or strong understanding of material handling operations
  • Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environments
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (Excel, WMS, scanners, tablets)
  • Bilingual in Korean and English is required.

Preferred: 

  • Experience in battery, automotive, or ESS manufacturing environments
  • Experience with SAP/eWM/WMS systems
  • Experience with AMR or automated logistics operations
  • Korean/English bilingual preferred, but not required

The base pay range for this role is between $110,000 - $125,000 per Salary, and your base pay will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
